Our AIMS

    • Support learning
    • Provide Information, Advise and Guidance
    • Share knowledge and expertise
    • Establish a non-competitive framework for assistance
    • Access relevant support network
    • Each organisation remains independent.
    • The umbrella acts as a way of creating an opportunity to bid for funds outside the reach of the individual groups. All members become directors of the umbrella.
    • Create a Social Prescription in which each person (i.e. member of the Great Yarmouth and surrounding communities) requiring support will be allocated funds that allow them to access the GYUP organisation that would most benefit them. (i.e. funds directly linked to service)
    • The more effective a project, the more funding it will attract. However, the organisation members will support each other to reach their potential by giving positive feedback and support.
    • Where 80% of the membership feel projects would benefit from funding, said funding will carry an expectation of feedback/audit and adaptation
