Following an overwhelmingly positive response from local groups, the Great Yarmouth VCSE Group is officially relaunching with a focus on regular, quarterly in-person meetings.

An abstract, light-colored promotional graphic for the Great Yarmouth VCSE Group Networking event, featuring an illustrated group of people collaborating against a soft pastel background that includes subtle silhouettes of St George’s Theatre and local coastal landmarks. This group is entirely open to all organisations operating within, or working in partnership with, the local Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. These quarterly sessions provide a welcoming, supportive space to build cross-sector understanding, share local insights, and develop unified partnership responses aligned with place-based community work.

What to expect:

Doors will open at 10:00 AM for complimentary tea, coffee, and informal morning networking before the main meeting commences.

The formal meeting will begin at 10:30 AM and will cover a vital local agenda:

  • Civil Society Covenant: Updates on both national and local sector responses.
  • FUSE Network Support: An introduction to available support frameworks and upcoming plans for Social Enterprise Day.
  • Empowering Communities Partnership: Updates from regional partners and a review of how local networks connect across Norfolk.
  • Neighbourhood Working & Local Policy: Direct discussions on current community action, including engagement with key programmes like Pride in Place.

There will also be dedicated open floor time for partners to suggest agenda items for future quarterly meetings and plenty of space to forge local connections.

Accessibility & Travel:

This event is being held in the Main Hall at St George’s Theatre. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, features accessible toilets, and is equipped with an induction loop system. Attendees are kindly requested to use public transport or car-share where possible.
