Hi, I'm Kirsty, founder of KnowU Wellbeing.
I deliver accessible health and wellbeing check-ins across Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and Suffolk, working with individuals, community groups and employers who want a practical, down-to-earth approach to prevention.
My message is simple: know your numbers, understand your normal.
What I'm seeing more and more is that people are often unaware of what's going on in the background. Things like blood pressure, cholesterol or diabetes risk can shift over time without any obvious signs. In fact, for many people I meet, it's the first time they've ever had these checked.
Most people aren't unwell — they're just busy. Looking after work, family and everything else, their own health gets pushed down the list. That's where KnowU comes in. It creates a relaxed, no-pressure space to pause and check in, with no judgement and no expectations — just a chance to understand where you're at.
I work one-to-one in a conversational way. We look at key health markers, talk through what the results mean and — most importantly — what, if anything, might be worth focusing on next. Results are available there and then, so people leave with clarity rather than uncertainty.
Alongside the numbers, the conversation often touches on sleep, stress, nutrition, movement and general wellbeing — the things that don't always get time or space elsewhere.
With a background in NHS Health Checks, weight management and Smokefree services, I'm passionate about making health feel more accessible and easier to engage with for everyone, especially those who might not usually engage with traditional services.
Whether I'm working with a local employer, supporting a community event or seeing someone one-to-one, the aim is always the same — to help people feel informed, reassured and a bit more in control of their health, while also building a picture of what's needed locally through anonymised insights.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me by the coast, or trying to teach this little chap, Mocha, a few new tricks 🐾 He's still very much in training — but maybe one day he'll join me for a session or two.
Your wellbeing starts with knowing you 🌿
